Gary Slaymaker, our Lowestoft Sales Manager and key organiser of this event since it began in 2002, achieved his target of hitting a quarter of a million pounds in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance last year. Keen to build on the momentum in creating awareness and support for this incredible cause Gary was keen to deliver another fantastic Golf Day this year.

The event took place on the 20th June and was widely supported by sponsors, members of the club and the general community. 30 courtesy rounds were auctioned off raising a phenomenal £21,300 in total and everyone including sponsors agreed it was a pleasure to be part of the day.

The presentation of funds took place on Tues 5th August at the club and the Air Ambulance team were fantastic - as always! They kindly allowed people to look around the air ambulance, ask questions and were given a brilliant all-round experience of what the Air Ambulance does and how it benefits the local community.

Gary Slaymaker, organiser of the event thanks sponsors and everyone who was involved in making this yet another successful fundraising event for such a worthy cause. He looks forward to planning next years event already!
